I am Shivlal Purushotham — a dancer, writer, filmmaker, and event coordinator with over 15 years of experience in the world of performing arts. My journey has taken me from choreographing and performing on some of the biggest stages in India and the UAE, to directing films and coordinating large-scale events that leave lasting impressions.
As a professional dancer and choreographer, I have performed in more than 10,000 shows, sharing the stage with renowned celebrities including Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, John Abraham, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, and many more. My versatility spans across Bollywood, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Disco Freestyle, and Musical Theatre, blending technique with creativity to craft unforgettable performances.
An active performing arts teacher across schools in the UAE, I have trained countless students, preparing them for their stage performances, competitions, and grand musical concerts. Watching them evolve into confident performers is one of my proudest achievements.
My work extends into film and media, where I have directed, written, and choreographed for feature films, corporate films, and award shows. From assisting on projects with Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi to writing screenplays for upcoming films, storytelling remains at the heart of my craft.
As an event coordinator and performing arts educator, I specialize in conceptualizing, scripting, choreographing, and managing everything from school musicals and corporate shows to grand weddings and international concerts. My highlight is not just teaching but transforming students into artists ready for certifications, competitions, and real-world stages.
